CHRONOBIOLOGY is the science that analyzes the rhythmical and regular fluctuation of the functions of human organism during the day called biological (circadian) human rhythms.


Why is it important to understand your biological clock?
It is an often case that we attempt to solve our health problems using improper means and ignoring the real signals as we do not understand the causes of these problems. The positive impact on human health is manifested when the rest and work regimes are adjusted, when the nutrition habits are changed, when active sporting is started and when organism is supplemented with the necessary substances at a certain time of the day. 

 

It has been determined that sleep has two main stages: slow-wave sleep and paradoxical sleep.
The slow-wave sleep is divided into four stages:
• Stage I – drowsing, starting to relax; however the sleep is still very sensitive and it is possible to wake up easily.
• Stage II – start of sleep. It is already the stage of deeper sleep. It is possible to wake up because of external noise, but it is more difficult than in the stage I.
• Stage III – IV – delta sleep when the person wakes up with difficulties and can remember only unclear fragments of dreams.
The stage of paradoxical sleep follows immediately after the slow-wave sleep; therefore the dreams from this stage are remembered the most frequently.

 

We suggest several means, which may affect quality of your sleep:
• clear the air well in your bedroom;
• do not watch TV and do not play with computer at least 1 hour before sleep;
• try to calm down and meditate;

• do not eat at least 1 hour before sleep;

• do not drink coffee, do not smoke or consume alcohol before sleep because although the latter helps to get asleep faster, but it also worsens sleep quality and induces early awakening;

• lie in warm bath;

• also do not forget healthy and balanced nutrition
